Raptor Ranch is home to Bedrock City — a beloved roadside attraction in Valle, Arizona, right off Highway 64, the main route to the Grand Canyon South Rim. It’s a fun, quirky stop that’s been delighting travelers for decades.
When you pull into the parking lot for your pet’s appointment, you’re arriving at a genuine piece of Route 66 roadside Americana. It’s worth a look around before or after your visit.

Bedrock City — a Flintstones classic
Right next door to our clinic is one of Arizona’s most beloved roadside stops. Walk through Bedrock City, meet the residents, and snap a photo with a dinosaur, see the birds of Prey— all before (or after) your pet’s appointment.
More than just a parking lot
Bedrock City is a classic piece of American roadside history — a Flintstones-themed attraction that’s been a fixture in Valle for generations. While you wait for your appointment, it’s a fun spot to explore with the family.
Valle sits at around 6,000 feet elevation with wide-open skies and a cooler climate than the Phoenix valley. Between Bedrock City and the Grand Canyon just 25 miles up the road, it’s a genuinely memorable place to spend a morning.
You can book a private raptor encounter
Raptor Ranch offers up-close private encounters with their incredible birds of prey — falcons, hawks, owls, and more. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t find anywhere else along the road to the Grand Canyon.
We recommend calling Raptor Ranch in advance to check availability and reserve your spot — it’s the perfect add-on to your visit.
Raptor Ranch is also a full RV park — a great base camp if you’re spending a few days exploring the Grand Canyon area.

Find us in Valle
We’re parked at Raptor Ranch in Valle, AZ — right off Highway 64, about 25 miles south of the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. From Flagstaff, take I-40 West to Exit 165, then head north on Highway 64 for about 30 miles.
